We do not send spam. You will never receive email from us with embedded links to any domain that is not dcchail.com. All email we send is checked and verified clear of malicious or intrusive malware prior to being transmitted. We do not send account details, payment requests, or any marketing solicitation by automated email. We will only contact you electronically (email, text) if you have requested us to do so, and only then for matters relating directly to the repair of your vehicle or orders from our online store.
We collect information from you pursuant to the repair of your vehicle or a purchase from our online store, including your name, email address, phone number, address, and (for repairs) vehicle information. We retain this information for a maximum of 12 months following the completion of your repair or order, subject to our records retention obligations under applicable tax law. We do not retain credit card information in our database longer than is necessary to fulfill your purchase or order. We temporarily store your credit card information to complete your purchase or order, after which we erase it except for the last four digits (to expedite follow-up enquiries or billing issues). Whenever we send your credit card information over the internet we encrypt it using secure socket layer technology. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we store your credit card information using Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to retain anonymized data about vehicle repairs, estimation, and purchases on our online store indefinitely for statistical analysis.

As you interact with our online store, we collect that information in addition to your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address.
